Jeanette WainwrightJeanette was born in Blackpool. Roles include the title role "La Cenerentola" for ECHO and Opera Project, Dorabella "Cosi fan Tutte" for ECHO, Olga "Eugene Onegin" for Opera South East, Maddalana "Rigoletto" for European Chamber Opera and Flora "La Traviata" for Magdala Opera with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Concerts include performances in the Royal Festival Hall, Aldeburgh Festival and Dartington International Music Festival. She made her Barbican Hall debut singing Donna Elvira "Don Giovanni" for Travelling Opera. She is also a regular soloist for the Council of Music in Hospitals, a Trust presenting professional artists in hospitals, hospices and prisons.

Jeanette now has a flourishing singing network/group in the North East working with over one hundred singers from 5 to 87 years old. All the singers work in smaller groups and then come together for concerts. People with no singing experience to people who have sung all their lives join the group which is possibly why participants come from such varied backgrounds ranging from teachers, sales & marketing workers, medics, art workers, social workers, police, women's aid workers, museum designer, drug awareness officer, "mind" workers, waitress, etc. The group has begun to do projects with a women's out reach service and the mental health organisation "MIND"; the aim being to support all involved and enhance well being and self confidence through singing together.

This group has originated out of the Magdala teaching model that she has taken and used as the basis for all her singing work.
