About Magdala
Magdala was constituted as a charitable trust in 2006, succeeding Magdala Opera Trust, formed in 1989. Magdala is registered as a charity, number 1108553.
The principal object of the charity is “ to advance education by promoting, encouraging and increasing the public’s appreciation and understanding of music and singing, including the development of singing and performance skills, particularly amongst those who would not normally have access to such facilities”
In January 2006 Magdala also became a Company Limited by Guarantee.
